Nikon has just announced that they are adding 4 new compact digital cameras to their arsenal. Coolpix S70, Coolpix S1000pj, Coolpix S640 and Coolpix S570. All four have sleek designs and bright OLED touch screen at the back (no buttons). They all also feature motion detection that adjusts the shutter speeds and ISO settings to compensate for any shaking and moving subjects in the view. These cameras will hit the shelves by end of september.
1. Coolpix S640
Features 12.2 megapixels, 5x optical zoom, wide angle lens (28 mm), super quick auto focus, built in photo editing features and a start up time of 0.7 seconds

2. Coolpix S70
An improvement over last year’s Coolpix S60, Coolpix S70 features 12.1 megapixels, a bright 3.5 inch OLED screen and video capturing at awesome 1,280 x 720 pixels and 30 frames per second.

3. Coolpix S1000pj
The foremost feature of this camera is a built in LCD projector to project 40 inched screen at a distance upto 6 feet. Although the projection brightness is rumored to be not so good (traditional projector brightness is 1000 times more), it sure adds a coolness factor to this camera. Other features are 12.1 megapixels with 5x optical zoom and captures 640 x 480 pixels video at 30 frames/second.

4. Coolpix S570
Last one on the list is Coolpix S570, an improvement over previous Coolpix S560 with 12 megapixels, 5x optical zoom and motion detection.
